• On 11 April 2022, Ombudsman Atty. Fatma Benli Yalcin visited General Director
of Prisons and Detention Houses of the Ministry of Justice Mr. Yunus Alkaç at his
office.
• Ombudsman Atty. Fatma Benli Yalcin visited President of the Review Board of
Access to Information (BEDK) of the Ministry of Justice Prof. Dr. Hasan Tahsin
Fendoglu at his office.

• Ombudsman Ms. Özlem Tunçak represented the Ombudsman Institution in
the symposium titled “The Future of Juvenile Justice System” organized by
the Union of Turkish Bar Associations on 23 April 2022, on the occasion of the
National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.

• Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç visited the President of the Privatization
Administration Mr. Bekir Emre Haykır in his office on 25 April 2022.

• Under the chairmanship of the Vice President of Religious Affairs Assistant
Professor Selim Argun, Counselors and Attachés of the Presidency of Religious
Affairs visited the Ombudsman Institution on May 31 within the scope of the

• On 9 June 2022, Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç attended the “Human
Rights Institutions Evaluation Meeting” held under the chairmanship of
Minister of Justice Mr. Bekir Bozdağ.
• On 20 June 2022, Chief Ombudsman participated as a speaker at the “Parliaments
and the Global Compacts on Migration” held jointly with the Grand National
Assembly of Türkiye and the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

• On 28 June 2022, Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç paid a visit to Director
General of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives of Türkiye Mr. Hüseyin Aydın in his
office.
