THE OMBUDSMAN INSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE

• In line with the aim of "making progress in the field of children's rights in Türkiye",
which is among the strategic priorities of the Ombudsman Institution in the field
of children's rights, the Ombudsman Institution participated as guest speakers
to the children's rights classes of the Hacettepe University Pre-School Education
Department Master's Student teachers in March and April.
• Turkish-German University Ombudsman Club students visited the Ombudsman
Institution on 31 March 2022.

• Chief Ombudsman Şeref Malkoç, together
with Ankara University and Ankara Hacı
Bayram Veli University Ombudsman Club
students, visited The Nation's Library
(Presidential National Library) on 1 April 2022
as part of the Library Week activities.

• The students of Medipol University Faculty of Law visited the Ombudsman
Institution on 8 April 2022. During the visit, Ombudsman Mr. Sadettin Kalkan,
who met with the students together with the Secretary General of the Ombudsman
Institution, Mr. Mehmet Sarı, gave information about the activities of the Institution
and answered the questions of the students.
• World champion special athletes, who are
affiliated with Türkiye Special Athletes Sports
Federation, visited Chief Ombudsman Mr.
Şeref Malkoç at his office on 11 May 2022.

• Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç,
together with the Commissioner for Human
Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of
Azerbaijan Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, who was in
the Ombudsman country for the introductory
meeting of the On-site Investigation Report on Human Rights in Karabakh,
met with the students of Ankara University Faculty of Law on May 16. At the
conference, where Ombudsman Ms. C. Özlem Tunçak participated, Mr. Malkoç
and Ms. Aliyeva informed the students about the work and functioning of their
Institutions.

• Kırklareli University Students visited the Ombudsman Institution on 20 May 2022.
• On 23 May 2022, students of Bursa Uludağ University visited the Ombudsman
Institution. Together with the Secretary General of the Ombudsman Institution
Mr. Mehmet Sarı, Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç met with the students. Mr.
