Visit to Vienna (November 7-10)

Head of the EU and Foreign Relations Department
Ms. Güniz Ateş participated in the Vienna study
visit within the scope of the IPA Strengthening
Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination Project.

Visit to Kazakhstan (November 25)

On 25 November 2022, upon the invitation of
Commissioner for Human Rights of Kazakhstan
Ms. Elvira Azimova, Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref
Malkoç and the accompanying delegation paid a
visit to Kazakhstan to attend the multi-stakeholder
meeting titled “Women and Girls at Risk:
Addressing root causes of violence and supporting
the survivors” jointly organized with UN Women, in Astana, Kazakhstan. A memorandum
of understanding has been signed between the Ombudsman Institution and the Office of
the Commissioner for Human Rights of Kazakhstan. The signed memorandum of
understanding aims to strengthen the existing cooperation between the Ombudsman
Institutions of the two countries.
Visit to Russia (November 16)

On 16 November 2022, Chief Ombudsman Mr.
Şeref Malkoç and his accompanying delegation
paid a visit to Russia to attend the Eurasian
Ombudsman Alliance meeting and the VI
International Scientific and Applied Conference
"Human Rights Protection in Eurasia: Exchange
of Best Practices of Ombudsmen", organized by
the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.
