Visit to Iran (August 26-30)

On 26-30 August 2022, the delegation of the
Ombudsman Institution, consisting of Chief
Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç and Head of the
EU and Foreign Relations Department Ms.
Güniz Ateş and Chief of Cabinet Mr. Veysel
Şirin, paid a visit to Iran upon the invitation of
the President of the General Inspection
Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr.
Zabihullah Khodaeian, and within the framework of signing a joint action plan
between the two Institutions.
Visit to Georgia ( September 27-28)

On 27-28 September 2022, Chief Ombudsman
Mr. Şeref Malkoç, Ombudsman Ms. C. Özlem
Tunçak and the accompanying delegation paid a
visit to Georgia to attend the International
Conference on “The Rights of Older Persons
and Role of Ombudsman and Mediator
Institutions” held in Tbilisi, hosted by the Office
of the Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia,
in cooperation with the Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen (AOM), of which
the Ombudsman Institution is a member.

Visit to Azerbaijan (October 19-20)

On 19-20 October 2022, Chief Ombudsman Mr.
Şeref Malkoç and the accompanying delegation
participated in the International Baku Conference
on "The role of Ombudsmen and NHRIs on
business and human rights" organized in Baku,
Azerbaijan with the support of the United Nations
Development Program (UNDP).

Visit to Kazakhstan (October 22-23)

On 22-23 October 2022, Ombudsman Mr. Arif
Dülger participated in the TURKIC WORLD
VISION 2040 Workshop organized by Hodja
Ahmet Yesevi University, an International Turkish-
Kazakh University in Turkestan, Kazakhstan.
