Ombudsman Institution (December 8)

On 8 December 2022, Ombudsman of the Turkish
Republic of Northern Cyprus Ms. İlkan Varol paid a
visit to Chief Ombudsman Şeref Malkoç in his office.

Visit of the Audit Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council
of Europe (March 23)

On 23 March 2022, Co-Rapporteurs of the Audit
Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the
Council of Europe Mr. John Howell and Mr. Boriss
Cilevics visited the Ombudsman Institution. The
Co-Rapporteurs were received by Chief Ombudsman
Mr. Şeref Malkoç, Ombudsman Ms. Fatma Benli
Yalçın and Secretary General Mr. Mehmet Sarı.
During the meeting, activities of the Ombudsman
Institution on human rights and seeking legal remedies were discussed.
Visit of the Secretary General of TURKPA (Parliamentary Assembly of
Turkic States) to the Ombudsman Institution (25 March)

On 25 March 2022, the Secretary General of TURKPA (Parliamentary Assembly of
Turkic States) Mr. M. Süreyya Erin paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Ombudsman Mr.
Şeref Malkoç in his office.

Visit of Pakistan Delegation to the Ombudsman Institution (May 26)

On 26 May 2022, within the scope of the work of the
Ministry of Justice, a delegation headed by Mr. Arif
Hussain Khilji, the advisor of the "Legal Aid Society"
non-governmental organization in Pakistan, visited
the Ombudsman Institution. The delegation was
accepted by Ombudsman Mr. Sadettin Kalkan.
Participants representing different states were
informed about the activities of the Ombudsman Institution.
