On 1 July 2022, People's Advocate of Albania Ms.
Erinda Ballanca, accompanied by Deputy
Commissioner for Human Rights from the Office
of the People's Advocate of Albania Ms. Dejana
Burgija visited Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref
Malkoç.

Visit of the Chairman of National Human Rights Committee of Qatar to the
Ombudsman Institution (July 3-5)

On 3-5 July 2022, National Human Rights Committee
(NHRC) of Qatar visited the Ombudsman Institution
within the scope of inter-institutional cooperation and
knowledge/experience sharing.

Visit of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian
Federation to the Ombudsman Institution (August 10)

On 10 August 2022, High Commissioner for Human
Rights in the Russian Federation Ms. Tatiana
Moskalkova and the accompanying delegation visited
the Istanbul Office of the Ombudsman Institution.
During the meeting, a protocol was signed in addition
to the memorandum of understanding signed in 2017
within the scope of bilateral cooperation between the
Ombudsman Institutions of both countries.
European Ombudsman Institute (EOI) Board of Directors Meeting (October 8)

The Ombudsman Institution hosted EOI Board of Directors Meeting on 8 October
2022 in Istanbul. The European Ombudsman Institute (EOI) Board of Directors
Meeting was attended by President of the EOI Mr. Dragan Milkov and Secretary
General of EOI Mr. Josef Siegele, as well as Ombudsmen who are Board Members
from Ukraine, Germany, Russia, Greek Administration of Southern Cyprus, Hungary,
Netherlands and Switzerland. EOI Board Members also met with Mayor of Üsküdar,
Istanbul Mr. Hilmi Türkmen. Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç made a
