Regional Conference in Kahramanmaraş (24-25 November)

The Chief Ombudsman and his Delegation visited Kahramanmaraş on 24-25
November 2021 to organize a regional meeting in order to introduce the activities of
the Ombudsman.

During the visit, Chief Ombudsman had meetings with the Governor, Metropolitan
Mayor, Mayors, Provincial Head of Security, the representatives of CSOs, citizens and
many other provincial representatives.

Working Visit to Adıyaman (26 November)
The Chief Ombudsman and his Delegation paid a working visit to Adıyaman on 26
November 2021 to hold meetings and give a lecture at Adıyaman University.
As part of the program, the Delegation visited the Governor of Adıyaman at his office.
Afterwards, Mr. Malkoç came together with the Rector of Adıyaman University. With
participation of the governor, mayor, chief public prosecutor, head of bar, provincial
protocol members, a lecture was given on “Ombudsmanship and Türkiye's 2023 Goals”.

Conference Series at Universities on Ombudsmanship and Türkiye’s 2023 Targets
The Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye carries out many activities in order to spread
the concept of justice within all segments of the society, to introduce the Ombudsman
Institution, to give information about application procedures and to explain the
activities of the Institution in detail.
In this regard, Ombudsman Student Clubs at over 100 universities have been
established so far. In this way, many universities were visited and lectures were given
on “Ombudsmanship and Türkiye’s 2023 Goals” in 2021 by the Chief Ombudsman
