administrations as well as citizens of the city.

Training for Children on Children’s Rights and the Ombudsman Institution of
Türkiye
During the regional conference in Mardin,
a training was organized for children on
Children’s Rights and the Ombudsman
Institution of Türkiye” with the support
of UNICEF in Türkiye and Provincial
Directorate of Family and Social Services of
Mardin. Twenty five children who attended
the training were given certificates of
attendance at the end of the training.

Training on Children’s Rights and Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye for
Lawyers of Mardin Bar Association

On 22 October 2021, a training on Child
Rights and the Ombudsman Institution
was held for the lawyers of the Bar in
Mardin.

At the training activity, the Chief
Ombudsman Mr. Malkoç gave information
about the mandate, activities, duties,
applications procedures and complaint
handling mechanism of the Ombudsman
Institution. Later, training was provided by Expert Gülhan Özkoç on the activities of
the Ombudsman regarding child rights, reports and publications in this field. Children
justice system, the applications filed to the Ombudsman etc.
