Women (28 April)

The Research Commission on
Identifying the Causes of Violence
against Women established within the
Parliament held a meeting on 28 April
2021. The Chief Ombudsman Mr.
Şeref Malkoç and Ombudsman Ms.
Özlem Tunçak who is in charge of
women, children and disabled rights,
and Secretary General Mr. İbrahim
Kılınç also attended the meeting.
Online Meeting with the Member Students of the Ombudsman Clubs at
Universities (23 May)
Chief Ombudsman Mr. Malkoç held
an online meeting with the chairs and
vice chairs of the Ombudsman Clubs of
68 universities. During the meeting, the
education conditions at the universities
during the pandemic were discussed, and
the Chief Ombudsman expressed that the
Ombudsman Institution will continue to
meet university students and speed up the
works of the Ombudsman Clubs in the future.

2021 at the Congresium Congress and Exhibition Center in Ankara under the theme
of “Islam in the Grip of Fake News, Hate Speech and Cultural Racism” under the
leadership of the Radio and Television Supreme Council, supported by the Ministry
of Culture and Tourism and the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of
Türkiye and with the cooperation of the Directorate of Religious Affairs, the Turkish
