4.3 GENERAL STATISTICS

As of 2013, a total of 207,403 complaints have been received including 17,816
applications lodged in 2022.

When the applications lodged to the Ombudsman Institution in 2022 are analyzed
according to age group distribution, it is seen that 30.74% of the applications were
lodged by the applicants between the ages of 35-44. This is followed by the age range of
25-34 with 27.58%, the age range of 45-54 with 17.44%, and the age range of 55-64
with 8.72%.
