First Joint Sub-Commission Meeting on 23 February 2022
The Joint Sub-Commission, consisting of
the members of the Petition and Human
Rights Inquiry Commissions, held its
first meeting on 23 February 2022. At
the meeting chaired by Kayseri Deputy
Mr. İsmail Taner, Ombudsmen Mr. Yahya
Akman, Mr. Arif Dülger, Mr. Sadettin
Kalkan and Ms. C. Özlem Tunçak made
presentations on their fields of activity at
the Joint Sub-Commission within the scope of the Institution's 2021 Annual Report.
After the Ombudsmen delivered their presentations, the Members of the Joint Sub-
Commission submitted their questions and opinions. The meeting ended after the
questions and suggestions of the commission members.

with the agenda of listening to the
representatives of the institutions
with a high compliance rate with
the Recommendations of the
Ombudsman Institution and
listening to the representatives of
institutions who do not / cannot
comply with the Recommendations of the Ombudsman Institution or who do not
respond positively to the information and document requests of the Ombudsman
Institution.

10.2 Other Activities

Participation in the Consultation Meeting of Institutions for Seeking Legal
Remedies (January 19)

On 19 January 2022, under the
auspices of the Speaker of the Grand
National Assembly of Türkiye,
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop, the
consultation meeting was held with
the heads of the institutions for
seeking legal remedies in Türkiye.
