Conference Held on the Occasion of the 27 Anniversary of the Establishment
of the Office of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of
Uzbekistan for Human Rights (February 23)
On 23 February 2022, the international scientific
and practical event on “Human Rights and
Legitimate Interests are the Highest Values of the
State and Society” was organized by the Office of
the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the
Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights. This

date was also the 27 Anniversary of the
Establishment of the Office of the Commissioner
of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan
for Human Rights. Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç attended the conference
online and gave a speech at the session on the rights of persons with disabilities.
Online Meeting with the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary
(March 22)
On 22 March 2022, Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref
Malkoç had an online meeting with Commissioner
for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Dr. Akos
Kozma. Dr. Kozma invited Chief Ombudsman
Mr. Şeref Malkoç to Hungary to visit their border.
Online Meeting with the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights of
Ukraine (August 15)
On 15 August 2022, Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç and the Parliament
Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine Mr. Dmytro Lubinets had an online
meeting. Mr. Malkoç congratulated Mr. Lubinets, who took office in July, for his new
position. During the meeting, opportunities regarding the joint cooperation activities
were discussed.
Online Meeting with the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the
Russian Federation (October 24)
On 24 October 2022, an online meeting was
held between Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref
Malkoç and the High Commissioner for
Human Rights in the Russian Federation Ms.
Tatiana Moskalkova. At the meeting, issues
related to cooperation regarding the future
work between the Ombudsman Institutions
of the two countries were discussed.
