                 10.1 Meetings for 2021 Annual Report

                                            The 2021 Annual Report, which explains the working
                                            methods of the Ombudsman Institution, the activities
                                            it carried out, the qualifications and statistics of
                                            applications, relations with citizens, public institutions
                                            and organizations and the Grand National Assembly
                                            of  Türkiye,  case summaries,  and the  contributions
                                            made by the Ombudsman Institution to the
                                            administrative system during the year, was submitted
                                            by  the Ombudsman  delegation  consisting  of  Chief
                                            Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç, Ombudsmen Mr.
                                            Yahya Akman, Mr. Arif Dülger, Mr. Sadettin Kalkan
                 and Ms. C. Özlem Tunçak and the Secretary General Mr. Mehmet Sarı on 16 February
                 2022 to the Joint Commission, chaired by Ms. Mihrimah Belma Satır.
                 In his presentation to the commission, Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç stated
                 that the Ombudsman Institution received 18,843 applications in 2021 and that
                 the Ombudsman Institution guided and provided legal remedies to 125,028 people
                 who lodged an application and contacted to the Institution by phone, mail or other
                 means. Mentioning the efforts of the Ombudsman Institution to spread the culture of
                 seeking legal remedies, Mr. Malkoç stated that the Ombudsman Institution established
                 Ombudsman clubs in 110 universities, and that the Institution continued its activities
                 online during the pandemic, and he also stated that the Institution carried out 21
                 activities in 2021 for women, children and persons with disabilities.
                 At the meeting, the members of the commission also expressed their opinions
                 regarding the annual report. In the last part of the meeting, it was determined that
                 the 2021 Annual Report of the Ombudsman  Institution should be discussed in
                 detail in the sub-commission. In addition, the administrations that do not comply
                 with  the  recommendations  should  be  called  to  the  sub-commission  to  be  listened,
                 and the administrations and directors who are responsive about complying with the
                 recommendations should be called to the sub-commission to be congragulated.
