➢ The Ombudsman Institution contributed to the "the European Commission’s
Türkiye 2022 Report".
➢ Within the framework of the “Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector
Coordination” project, of which the EU Presidency is the beneficiary, a needs
analysis study is being carried out by the technical support team of the relevant
project. A survey study is organized to serve as a source for training needs analysis
studies. The relevant questionnaire has been filled.
➢ The Ombudsman Institution contributed to the Second Periodic Report of
Türkiye regarding the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
➢ On 26 July 2022, a meeting was held with the Council of Europe - Migration
Project team to get information about the mechanisms, general situation and
capacity of the Ombudsman Institution in the context of migration.
➢ On 16 February 2022, letters were sent to the Ombudsmen and International
Institutions and Organizations regarding the Syrian refugees in Türkiye.
