Çavuşoğlu, the Chair of the Human Rights Inquiry Committee of the Parliament, Ms.
Mihrimah Belma Satır, the Chair of the Petition Committee of the Parliament. During
these meetings, the officials briefed about their activities in the field of human rights
protection and underlined the importance of cooperation in this field.

➢ 4 Meeting of ECO Heads of Anti-Corruption Organizations and Ombudsmen
(June 2021)

Chief Ombudsman Mr. Malkoç and his Delegation attended the 4 Meeting of
the Heads of Anti-Corruption Organizations and Ombudsmen of the Economic
Cooperation Organization Member States hosted by the Republic of Uzbekistan on
June 16 – 17, 2021.

During the visit, Chief Ombudsman also had a meeting with the Ombudsman
of Uzbekistan, Ms. Feruza Eshmatova and the President of General Inspection
Organization of Iran, Mr. Hassan Darvishian and discussed to further strengthen
existing cooperation between Ombudsman Institutions.

Chief Ombudsman and his Delegation also visited the President of the Constitutional
Court of Uzbekistan, the Director of the National Centre of Uzbekistan for Human
Rights, the Turkish Ambassador in Tashkent and Turkish School in Tashkent.
