Both sides shared information about the activities of their Institution and the ways of
strengthening cooperation between two offices were also discussed during the meetings.

The delegation also had meetings with the Chairman of Human Rights and Equality
Institution of Türkiye, Mr. Muharrem Kılıç, the Head of the Council of Europe
Programme Office in Ankara, Mr. Cristian Urse, the First President of Court of
Cassation, Mr. Mehmet Akarca, the Chairman of the Türkiye-Kenya Interparliamentary
Friendship Group, Mr. Celalettin Güvenç, the members of the Committee on Petitions
of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the Vice-President of Turkish Cooperation
and Coordination Agency, Mr. Mahmut Çevik, and the Turkish Maarif Foundation.

➢ Visit of Ombudsman of Uzbekistan to the Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye
(November 2021)
On 22-23 November 2021, the Ombudsman of Uzbekistan, Ms. Feruza Eshmatova
and her Delegation paid a visit to the Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye.
During the visit, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between both
institutions were signed.

As part of the visit, the Delegation also had meetings with Mr. Osman MESTEN,
Chairman of the Türkiye-Uzbekistan Interparliamentary Friendship Group, Ms.
Mihrimah Belma SATIR, Chairman of the Committee on Petitions of the Grand
National Assembly of Türkiye and Ms. Fatma AKSAL, Head of the Committee
on Equal Opportunity for Women and Men of the Grand National Assembly of
Türkiye.
