Chief Ombudsman of Türkiye, Mr.Şeref Malkoç

attended the 11 Meeting & General Assembly
of the Association of the Mediterranean
Ombudsmen at Nafplion, Greece, on 04-05
October 2021. Mr.Malkoç made a speech at
plenary session on climate change and natural
disasters. In his speech, Mr.Malkoç shared
the unfortunate experiences of Türkiye about
natural disasters
as a result of
climate change
and stressed
the importance
of the role of
Ombudsmen in
times of disasters.
At the reception organized within the meeting, Chief
Ombudsman also had a chance to meet the President of
Greece, Ms. Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

➢ Visit of Ombudsman of Kenya to the Turkish Ombudsman Institution
(October 2021)

On 17-23 October 2021, the Ombudsman of Kenya and the Secretary General of
African Ombudsman and Mediators Association (AOMA), Ms. Florence Kajuju, the
Chief Executive Officer/Accounting Officer of the Commission on Administrative
Justice, Mr. Leonard Ngaluma, and Advisor to the Chairperson (Ombudsman)
Commission on Administrative Justice, Dr. Mary Kimari visited the Ombudsman
Institution of Türkiye.
