At his own request, he did not stand for parliamentary candidateship
in 2015 Elections and, ended his active political career.
He was elected as one of the Ombudsmen by the Joint Committee
of Petitions and Human Rights on November 2016.
He speaks Kurdish and English well.
He is married with 6 children.
