            4.5 Publications

            The Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye has so far published three special reports on:

               ◊  coal mining accidents and occupational health and safety in mining sector,
               ◊  judicial system in Türkiye and

               ◊  the Syrians in Türkiye.
            The last thematic report of the Ombudsman Institution, which is “Syrians in Türkiye”,
            is an initiative of the institution to conduct a comprehensive study of the situation of the
            3,4 million Syrians under temporary protection in Türkiye and to form policy proposal to
            relevant authorities. This special report, which was published in 2018, has been shared with
            all Ombudsmen and national human rights institutions in the world.
