Ombudsman Ms. Fatma Benli Yalçın Paid a Visit to the Kırşehir Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center
Within the framework of the thematic report studies carried out on combating violence against women, Ombudsman Ms. Fatma Benli Yalçın, accompanied by experts from the Ombudsman Institution, paid visits to the Kırşehir Provincial Director of Security Mr. Erdoğan Kartal, the Kırşehir Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel Mr. Ahmet Yıldırım, and the Kırşehir Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center (ŞÖNİM) and the guesthouse.
During the meeting with Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Ahmet Yıldırım, consultations were held on preventive services, ongoing efforts, and good practices in combating violence against women in the gendarmerie jurisdiction.
During the meeting with the Provincial Director of Security Mr. Erdoğan Kartal, information was provided on activities conducted within the scope of combating violence against women, particularly the KADES (Women's Emergency Support Application) and the electronic ankle tag applications.
During the visit to the ŞÖNİM and the guesthouse, information was received regarding ŞÖNİM activities, including the work carried out both in the guesthouse and in the field.
