Ombudsman Mr. Özcan Yıldız Gave a Speech at the “Earthquake and Law” Panel and Workshop Held at İnönü University
Ombudsman Mr. Özcan Yıldız participated as a speaker in the “Earthquake and Law” Panel and Workshop hosted by İnönü University.
In his speech, Ombudsman Mr. Yıldız emphasized that the Ombudsman Institution is an important, accessible, and free mechanism that enables citizens’ voices to be heard during large-scale disasters such as earthquakes. He noted that the Institution issues recommendation decisions to address administrative shortcomings, and ensures good administration in disaster management.
As part of his visit to Malatya, Ombudsman Mr. Özcan Yıldız paid a visit to the Governor of Malatya, Mr. Seddar Yavuz.
Ombudsman Mr. Özcan Yıldız also attended a program organized by the Malatya Youth and Education Association. In his speech, Mr. Yıldız shared information regarding the functioning and activities of the Ombudsman Institution, as well as the ways to lodge a complaint to the Institution and the procedures for resolving complaints.
Additionally, Ombudsman Mr. Özcan Yıldız paid a visit to the Malatya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, Mr. Ebu Bekir Kayhan.
