By Law, the Turkish Ombudsman Institution has to submit an Annual Report
about its activities to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye at the end of
January each year.
The original Annual Report for 2021 is 560 pages long. This abridged English
version has been prepared for the benefit of foreign readers, and some of the
key highlights about the Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye have also been
added in order to familiarize readers with the Institution.
