➢ A human rights guide handbook will be prepared and made available to foreign
users, too.
➢ Trainings on good administration principles and human rights will be organized
for all public personnel.
D-In order to ensure the effective use of the right to apply to the Institution, the
following activities will be carried out in order to ensure that our Institution is
recognized by all segments of society at the national level:
➢ Regional meetings organized with the participation of representatives of public
institutions at local level and NGOs, mukhtars and citizens will be continued.
➢ Existing close contact with national and local media organizations and members
of the media will be strengthened.
➢ Awareness-raising and promotion activities for disadvantaged individuals
including women, children, the disabled individuals etc. will be continued.
➢ Cooperation with the relevant administration will be developed in order to
increase the institution’s recognition by foreigners under temporary protection
status and irregular migrants.
➢ Close relations with NGOs at the national level will be developed and periodic
evaluation meetings will be held to ensure its continuity.
➢ Active support will be provided to university ombudsman clubs by sharing
knowledge and experience.
➢ Necessary works will be carried out for the establishment of the Turkish
Ombudsman Institute and to start its activities.
➢ Workshops will be organized to solve the problems of women, children, people
with disabilities and those deprived of their liberty, and the results will be
reported.
It is aimed to carry out works for the promotion of our institution at the international
level and to increase cooperation. In this regard;
➢ Relations with international human rights institutions and Ombudsman
institutions will be maintained, and trainings will be organized by exchange of
information.
➢ Works will be carried out to establish new ombudsman associations, especially to
establish the Association on Ombudsmen of the Turkic speaking countries.
