7.1 TARGETS FOR 2022
A-The accessibility of applicants to the Institution will be increased. In this regard;
➢ Introductory videos will be used through institution’s social media accounts in
order to increase the eligible applications.
➢ Simple, understandable and explanatory information will be shared on the
Institution’s website.
➢ Efficiency will be increased in order to inform people fully and accurately
through the Information Bureau.
B- It is aimed to increase the effectiveness of the supervision process by developing
the complaint examination methods of our institution. In this regard;
➢ In order to shorten the application review process, target periods for each stage
will be determined.
➢ Special examination methods will be developed for applications that require
immediate resolution.
➢ Procedures will be developed for faster and more effective resolution of
complaints of disabled and needy applicants.
➢ Cases related to children’s rights and directly submitted by children will continue
to be guided.
C-. It is aimed to prepare preventive reports and assume an educational role in
order to contribute to the improvement of public services. In this regard;
➢ Special reports will be prepared on the subjects that concern the public, especially
the subjects, on which the applications are concentrated, and human rights,
women’s rights, children’s rights, etc.
➢ The task of monitoring the Annual Implementation Report envisaged in the
Human Rights Action Plan will be fulfilled.
➢ Special reports will be prepared on the activities of penitentiary institutions,
human rights violations due to the push back of refugees by Greece, problems of
the Roma, climate change and its effects, and natural disasters.
➢ The Manual on Good Administration Principles will be updated, a citizen-
oriented version of it will be prepared and translated into foreign languages.
