            Vision, Suggestion, and Experience Sharing of Country Representatives
            Moderator Ombudsman Mr. Yahya Akman started his speech at the last session of the
            two-day conference by greeting all the participants. He stated that the role of the Om-
            budsmen, who carry out their duties with an understanding that prioritizes “Human
            Rights”, which is actually closely related to the humanity in general, will be addressed.
            He emphasized that the Ombudsmen have an understanding of trying to protect hu-
            man rights fully and completely, first for their own country and then for the humanity
            in general. He also added that they are a non-governmental organization on one side
            and a state institution on the other, and they are an institution that acts as a bridge
            between the public and the state.
